For most of us the options have been a packet of tablets, a hot water bottle, or simply working through it. We spent years making topical products for chronic pain, and the question we kept getting from women was why none of it was made for this. So we made one that is: an oil you massage into your lower abdomen, your lower back, wherever the week has decided to land.
Why you’ll love it
Formulated for the cycle, not a general pain cream.
Nothing to swallow, and nothing that clashes.
Lower abdomen, lower back, wherever it has landed.
Kunzea, Clary Sage, Rose Geranium and Sweet Fennel.
Warm oil, hands, a few minutes that are yours.
A 60mL pump bottle, sealed, for desk drawers and travel.
Where you are in the month
Most people do not use it every day. They use it on the days it earns its place.
A small amount massaged low on the abdomen on the days you feel it.
Onto the lower back and abdomen as things start to tighten and swell.
Two to three times a day, massaged in circles until it absorbs.
Gently onto the chest and lower back, which is what reviewers rate it for.

What’s inside
Castor Oil, Refined Sunflower Oil, Hempseed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Kunzea Ambigua Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Rose Geranium Oil, Sweet Fennel Oil, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Ginger Extract, German Chamomile Flower Extract and Sweet Orange Oil.
Free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulphates, artificial colours, preservatives and petrochemical derivatives. Palm oil free and nut free.
See the ingredient glossaryThe botanical most associated with the cycle in traditional aromatherapy, and the reason this blend smells and behaves differently from anything else we make.
Two of the more expensive carrier oils available, chosen over a cheap filler base because they are useful in their own right rather than just a vehicle.
Kunzea ambigua from Tasmania, with Ginger and German Chamomile extracts. Together they give the blend its warm, grounding character as it absorbs.
How to use it
A small amount low on the abdomen, massaged in circles.
The other place it lands. Massage until absorbed.
Gently, and the thing reviewers most often single out.
Across the abdomen, slowly, two to three times a day.
Mid cycle, on the days you know about.
Massage in first, then heat over the top.
The warm oil and the few quiet minutes are half of it.
A pump bottle for the desk drawer or the weekend away.
What customers tell us
★★★★★
“This is hands down the best product I’ve used. It worked so well I didn’t even realise my period was coming and I usually get bloated and have back pain the day before.”

★★★★★
“Eases pain immediately and reduces abdominal bloating. Totally recommended this product. Took a couple of days to get used to the smell but was great after that.”

Five-star reviews left by verified Judge.me buyers of this product, quoted as written, including the bit about the scent. It is a real botanical blend rather than a fragrance, and it does take some people a few uses. Individual experiences differ from person to person.
What people pair it with
The blend handles the days it is needed. These are what customers keep alongside it for everything either side.
Zea began in 2016 as a family market stall in Tasmania and we are now Australia’s only Certified B Corporation in natural pain relief, donating 1% of all sales to the planet. This blend came out of years of making topical products for chronic pain, and out of being asked, repeatedly, why nobody had made a proper one for this. The carrier oils alone cost several times what a filler base would. That is the whole reason it is $49.95 and not $19.95.

The carrier base. Evening Primrose and Hempseed Oils cost several times what a standard filler base does, and they make up most of the bottle. We could have used a cheaper base and charged less. A 60mL bottle used a few days a cycle lasts most customers a long time.
Herbal and warm rather than sweet, because it is a real botanical blend and not a fragrance. Some customers love it immediately and some take a few uses to settle into it, which is honestly reflected in our reviews.
